06.Jan.12 | Martin Wild There I was thinking hadnt heard a Hammond for a while and you decide to do a gig at the Vic in downtown Settle! not only that but you were here with Dylan, and Ive seen Enzo with Sarah Gillespie. The final bit of good news is its my birthday the 13th so no guessing whre I will be...
and tho cheeky, any chance of you guys doing "kicking the 3" in the programme, or if thats not within the programme parameters, Skaters Waltz a la Kirk and McDuff ?
06.Dec.11 | Ehsan Hi Quentin,
I am a trumpet player at intermediate level with ABRSM grade 5. Also I play in Citylit bigband.
I would like to improve my improvisation skills. I am interested in Bebop and Hardbop.
Do you do any teaching at all? And if you do, can I ask how much you charge.
Many Thanks.
01.Nov.11 | Brian Hyland Hello Quintin, Just a line to thank you for your wonderful musical contribution at the Cork Jazz Festival, especially the impromptu late night session in the festival club last Saturday. What a session! Absolutely fantastic. Hopefully we'll see you in Cork again soon.
16.Sep.11 | Charlotte Caird Hi Quentin
I'm just starting to gather ideas for next season at the Forge and it really is time that your group played here!! I'm so sorry nothing's worked out before now. Do let me know what your plans are for Feb-June 2012 and what your current London dates are within that time.
Best wishes
Charlotte
31.Jul.11 | Len My first time hearing you. I normally want the contrast in timbre that the usual coupling with tenor sax brings, but this afternoon at the Dragon it didn't matter, the tenor wasn't missed - by me at any rate - and I found myself full taken up with your playing and the way you balanced light and shade, angularity and lyricism. Your ballad playing I found richly inventive and it brought a tear to my eye. You give a lot, and have a lot to say. Once or twice I thought I heard shades of (the marvellous) Joe Gordon. Cheers.
13.Jul.11 | John Hudson Hi I was just looking at your website and thought I would drop you a line. I am a trumpet player and sales manager for Geneva Instruments. I don,t know if you have heard of us ? we have some great musician playing our horns and I was wondering if you might have some time to give them a try.
Cheers John.

03.Oct.08 | brian baggaley Saw your gig at the sensatori resort, crete and was really impressed with the quality of the trio and the music. unfortunately, this type of jazz has a very restricted market with the campers! i am a blues fan and found the set a little above my appreciation and understanding. however, i Felt sorry that the resort did not make bigger announcements in the early part of the holiday as to your status as a star trumpet player. i do persist with jazz but it is hard. my likes are john hammond, matt schofield, ian siegal ..
sorry but still with an open mind and wishing you good luck
brian
